American Yellowwood

Zone 4–8. 30–50' H × 40–55' W. Low branching tree with a broad, rounded head; smooth gray bark; leaves begin as bright yellow-green, turning to bright green in summer; fragrant white flowers in May and June; produces largest amount of flowers every other year or every third year; tolerant of high pH and acidic soils; very few disease insect problems; good shade tree for smaller locations.
