We invite you to visit Waverly Farm. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nursery tours are available by appointment only. Contact us so that we may arrange a convenient time for you.

Directions

From Washington, DC Metro Area via I-270

I-270 north toward Frederick; Route 85 South; go 7 miles; right on Greenfield Road; right at first drive.

From Montgomery County, MD via Route 28

Route 28 toward Frederick County; (shortly past Dickerson there will be a section of Greenfield Road to the right—DO NOT TAKE IT); stay straight onto Route 85 when Route 28 turns left; left onto Greenfield Road; right at first drive.

From Baltimore via I-70

I-70 west toward Frederick; I 270 South; Route 85 South; go 7 miles; right on Greenfield Road; right at first drive.

From Western Maryland via I-70

I-70 East to Frederick; I-270 South; Route 85 South; go 7 miles; right on Greenfield Road; right at first drive.

From Virginia via Route 15

Route 15 North to Point of Rocks bridge; immediately after crossing river, right on Route 28; travel several miles; left on New Design Road (it comes up quickly around a curve after 2nd turkey farm); right on Greenfield Road; left into first drive.

From Virginia via Route 340

Route 340 into Maryland; take I-70 East, immediately merge right onto I-270 South; Route 85 South; go 7 miles; right on Greenfield Road; right at first drive.

From Pennsylvania via Route 15

Route 15 South through Frederick; merge onto I-270 South; Route 85 South; go 7 miles; right on Greenfield Road; right at first drive.

From Philadelphia and North

We recommend going to Harrisburg, then south on Route 15 (see above) to avoid the Baltimore and Washington Beltways. The time from the north side of Philadelphia is about the same either way—unless you get caught in heavy traffic on the Beltways.
